DWS – Simple machining of flexible parts

With flexible workpieces, e.g. welded constructions, strong vibrations quickly occur during machining. The patented DWS detects vibrations as they occur and generates the necessary counter-vibrations to eliminate any chatter during machining. The active damping system consists of a controller and several actuators that are attached to the workpiece. The system is machine-independent.
